Zilker Summer Musical 2017 Information

The show’s run dates are from July 7th to August 12th, with performances Thursday through Sunday evenings.

Rehearsals are currently scheduled to begin mid-May.

Cast positions are paid.

At this time, Zilker Theatre Productions is unable to hire Actor’s Equity Association members.
Audition Information

Primary auditions will be held on Saturday & Sunday, March 11th and 12th.

Callbacks are scheduled for Saturday, March 18th.

Adults and children 9 years of age and older are invited to audition.

ZTP warmly encourages actors of all ethnic/racial backgrounds to audition.
PLEASE NOTE: ZTP will not be accepting video auditions for this production. Thank you for your understanding.
2 step process:
Auditions by appointment only

Complete an audition form. (Made available to the general public on 2.11.17.)

After completing your audition form you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on reserving an audition time.
What to Prepare

(Auditioners who wish to sing from the The Wizard of Oz can take advantage of the musical cuts provided by following this link.)

It will be in your best interest to use your audition cut to show personality and range.

Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.

Dancing will not be required at initial auditions.

Bring a headshot and résumé if available. (Photos may also be taken on-site.)

All performers ages 9+ are invited to audition.
A Note About The Band
The band does not have a formal audition process, and is often filled very quickly with ZSM veterans. However, openings do come up. If you are interested in being part of the band, please email us here.
Some important things to note…
Zilker Theatre Productions Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy
