By the Water

Jan. 23 - Jan. 25 (2017)
BY THE WATER by Sharyn Rothstein is a story of two families that survived Huricane Sandy and the destruction of Staten Island. The families find themselves sorting through the wreckage of their homes and their dreams. They must decide to either start over or move on. Determined to rebuild, Marty, the central character, wages a campaign to save his neighborhood and his home, but when his sons arrive to help, past betrayals rush to the surfae. With fierce compassion and humor, BY THE WATER, reminds us that the very powers that tear us apart can also bring us together.
